SideTracked 2026 - Victorian Miniature Railway, Harcourt
Since the series first began in the UK, SideTracked Events have been held on 10th August (SideTracked Day) to celebrate... and this year is the 19th Anniversary.
With SideTracked Caches proliferating across Melbourne and parts of Victoria, we are joining in with the UK and celebrating SideTracked Week 2026 at Harcourt at the home of the Victorian Miniature Railway. The current track length spans 2.7km and carries a variety of steam and diesel locomotives and is the biggest 7 1/4" railway in all of Victoria.
This will be a family-friendly event with attendees gaining exclusive access to the miniature railway. Optional train rides ($10 per person for unlimited rides), along with more activities and details to follow.

Where: Victorian Miniature Railway, 3643 Harmony Way, Harcourt
When: Saturday, 8th August 2026, 10:00 AM - 1:00PM
- Optional train rides from 10.30am
- $10 per person for unlimited train rides. Children under 2 free
- BBQ lunch from 11:30am
- Will Attends: For catering purposes, please include the number of attendees in your will attend eg @2@ including if you require vegetarian or gluten‑free options so we can plan catering.

Geocaching Victoria
Geocaching Victoria is a not-for-profit incorporated body that seeks to promote the pastime of geocaching with a predominant focus on the state of Victoria. It is governed by committees of enthusiastic geocachers who volunteer their time and energy for the advancement of geocaching in Victoria. Collectively we aim to inspire great geocaching experiences, promote knowledge sharing and development, foster and grow the geocaching community, and help to showcase the best Victorian geocaching experiences to geocachers both from within and outside of the state.
We host small and large scale events and CITOs around Victoria as well as supporting others who also hold events around the state. We are constantly looking for opportunities to develop new and exciting ideas that can aid and enhance the geocaching experience of anyone within the state of Victoria.
