Cotteridge Park is a 22 acre park in south Birmingham, nestled between the Bournville and Cotteridge neighbourhoods. Like most of the surrounding area, it dates from the early 20th century, having started its life as a park around 1905.
The park is in many ways the heartbeat of the local community, with multiple activities taking place here each week throughout the year. There are tennis and basketball courts, a large playground, a skate park, a community orchard and a small community room known as The Shed. The park is popular with dog walkers and families.
The park is supported by voluntary group Friends of Cotteridge Park who run a number of events, tend the orchard and generally keep an eye on things. This cache is placed with their permission.
