Della torre poco si conosce sulla data di fondazione di questa piccola cappella: è citata per la prima volta in un contratto di compravendita datato 29 settembre 1396.
L'interno, ad unico vano, è molto semplice: nella parete destra della navata notiamo la grotta di Lourdes costruita nel 1913 dall'allora sacrestano Fedele Siopaes per potervi collocare una statua della Vergine di scuola gardenese.

Der Innenraum, ein einziger Raum, ist sehr schlicht: An der rechten Wand des Kirchenschiffs befindet sich die Lourdes-Grotte, die 1913 vom damaligen Sakristan Fedele Siopaes erbaut wurde, um eine Statue der Jungfrau von Gardena zu beherbergen.
