Come join the fun at The Black Pig, Barnsole Road, Staple (CT3 1LE)
This is my fourth hosted event in Kent, and a repeat of the previous three years at the Black Pig. The Black Pig is the quintessential English country pub with a good selection of beers and a pub food menu that caters for all tastes at reasonable prices. It dates back to the 16th Century with its timber frame and whitewashed walls and has a large back garden, including a Bat n Trap pitch. There is ample parking.
We have reserved an area in the garden with the option of indoors, if the weather is inclement and there are a selection of nearby puzzles, multicaches and traditionals published to entice those from further afield. I also hope to publish a new one for the FTF hounds out there.
The pub will be opening 1 hour earlier than usual, just for us, so the first hour will be geocachers only.
If there are sufficient attenders, we plan to hold a West Kent vs East Kent Bat 'n Trap game between 1200 and 1300. The previous 2 years have been won by East Kent, so come on West Kent, the gauntlet is thrown down.
