Geocache Description:

Please only come Wednesday to Saturday from 11am to 5pm and Sunday 12 tp 5 pm. This is a great cache to do with family and children. It does require some tromping through the woods on a property that has been a dairy farm since 1948 and is the largest farm in Polk county. There are rumors of hidden stills, indigenous peoples, and gold mines in it's past but for almost 75 years it has been primarily farmers and cows that have lived here. When you wander the property beside farm animals you will see signs of deer, turkeys, but there are many other creatures that reside here too. Coyote can be heard some nights and in the tiny streams that criss-cross the property are signs of river otter and beaver.  The geocache does not require opening any gates, do not climb fences as some fields may have visiting BULLS that may not be as placid as the cows, and even cows can sometimes be skittish. There are electrified fences around some of the escape artists such as the pigs. The geo cache trail will not take you close to the pigs and horses so that is just a heads up, we wouldn't want you to receive an uncomfortable zap. Please only hunt during the listed hours when staff will be on the farm at the farm store.

To start the hunt, the farm is located fronting on Highway 9, the address is 115 Harmon Dairy Lane. Turn off 9 onto a dirt road and park near the creamery. Good Luck
