Welcome to this reverse wherigo! The cache is not at the posted coordinates but there is parking there. Please bring your own pen and replace as found.
This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of a "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not the bearing. You may begin your search from anywhere using your Smartphone or Wherigo compatible GPS device to navigate to the cache.
The cartridge was created by -Waldmeister- is available to download from here. Waldmeister's First Reverse Cache was the original for this type of Wherigo.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box which will give you the distance to the final location. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge are contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual. Take the code with you on your journey as it will be needed if it becomes necessary to restart your player for any reason.
Now for a little story!
Hi there! I'm Sophie, the Geopup - and yes, I may be a little older now, but I'm still full of zoomies at the grand age of eight. My mom says I'm "'active", I say I'm an explorer! That's why she decided to place a cache in my honour. We head out on adventures through the nearby neighbourhoods and trails five or six days a week, and sometimes I insist we go around the same block up to three times - just in case that sneaky cat or rat comes back. Today I spotted three cats and four rats (gross, if you ask my mom... exciting, if you ask me!)
Sometimes I convince Mom to take me to this park, where there just are SO many amazing smells and things to bark at! I also like to jump up on the benches and strike my best "good girl" pose, because that usually means treats! I nailed that move four times today. There was one bench I really like, so I kept hopping back up on it and earned two treats, which I quickly ate (no time to waste!). When we got to ground zero, I gave Mom my very best "this is the one" look - and she finally understood. Humans can be slow sometimes, but she got there, and so did the cache!
On the way home I made sure we stopped at house number seven nine five. That's where my friend - the cat lady - lives, and she always comes out with homemade treats just for me. I mean... obviously, we had to go. Today was the BEST - she came outside, and between my five levels of excitement and absolutely zero patience while Mom chatted, I managed to score lots of treats (as I should!). After that I was ready to head home, especially since it was getting close to six pm, and a pup's gotta keep track of suppertime!
PS - Best hunted in daylight... trolls after dark = suspicious neighbours!
