Geocache Description:

On 12 June 2026 we will celebrate 50 years of marriage.  It has been an adventure.  More specifically, it has been a love partnership including bliss, bonding, joy, trials, passion, compromise, hilarity, devotion, forgiveness, respect, loss, sacrifice, and grace.  And it would not have been possible without our faith being at the center of our every day. We have discovered that the key to our successful marriage is found in Scripture.  We want to share that key with you.

Key To a Successful Marriage

Spiritual Foundation

Commitment

Agape Love

Prayer

Support From Fellow Believers

Unity

Humility

Gentleness

Forgiveness

Patience & Peace

Now we would like to share the key to finding the cache we have hidden to commemorate our 50th wedding anniversary.  The cache cannot be found at the posted coordinates.  That is the location of our wedding ceremony---Mountain View Brethren in Christ Church.  That congregation no longer meets in this building.

Near the building (at the posted coordinates) is a wooden pole with a vertical 6-digit number.  Use this number to find the location of the hidden container---your key to a smiley.

Final coordinates:

N 38 50.A B C

W 104 47. D E F

Top number on pole plus 6  = A

Second number on pole multiplied by 8 = B

Third number on pole plus 2 = C

Fourth number on pole minus 9 = D

Fifth number on pole multiplied by 1.5 = E

Sixth number on pole squared minus 7 = F

Check sum for all six numbers (A+B+C+D+E+F) = 32
