Back in February 2020 I hosted an event at 6:30am called While I'm Still Awake after doing a gorilla birth watch from midnight to 6am at the zoo where I'm a volunteer. Flash forward 6 years and I'm doing another birth watch. However, this will be different because there are 2 female gorillas expecting babies a week apart (busy male!) My shift this time is from 1am to 7am Tuesdays.
I've missed my early morning coffee events at Retreat since I moved to Lacey so I'm hosting one May 12. I may not get there right at 7:15 but I'm going to try. It will be great having coffee before my drive home and hopefully I'll get to see some of my "northern" friends! Please come if you can!
