I drive a truck for a living, and theres times I stop at a rest stop or truck stop and there isn't a cache. Often when this happens I'll see a spot that my cacher brain will instantly think would be great for a cache, but since I'm not local I can't really just drop one. However there are some spots in my home state of Maine where I stop when I get runs that I stop that do need caches, and either myself or my partner in crime can stop and check if needed.
The turnpike rest areas here in Kennebunk are great stops to stretch and refuel both your stomach and your car. The cache is a small round black container hidden in a usual place. There are tons of muggles around, so keep that in mind when grabbing the container.
