Jingshan Trail – Embracing Mountain Section 景山道 – 攬山段 (3.5 km)
For this section, it is recommended to start from the trail entrance
N 22 15.486 E 113 33.672) and proceed from west to east, following the cache numbers. This segment features dense, pristine vegetation and is lined with uniquely shaped rock formations; the tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal setting for forest bathing and meditative hiking.
Once you have found EM – 10, you may either retrace your steps back along the same path or descend from N 22 14.942 E 113 33.122 toward Bailiandong Park for other 3 caches. Although this downhill route is paved with stone steps, the path is extremely narrow and lacks handrails; for the sake of both your safety and your knees, please be sure to maintain your focus and descend slowly.
(As I carefully made my way down the mountain steps, three athletes, one after another, actually overtook me from behind, sprinting and leaping down the mountain only to vanish from sight within seconds. They were fine, though; for not long after, I saw them making their way back up again.)
