There is a parking area very closeby to this cache, but if completing the series, it is possible to park along the roadside in Caythorpe, and then take a wander along the public footpath alongside a stream towards Hoveringham Mill, which is approximately 1 mile away, continuing along public footpaths towards Hoveringham village. It is also possible to park on the main road in Hoveringham. This footpath is not suitable for cycling, and the trail is suitable as a walk only. Some caches in Hoveringham and along the route back to Caythorpe can be found as park and grabs. Please park sensibly.
This cache is a new container in a new location, as the previous cache/location proved unsuitable with high water levels of the River Trent causing it to wash away!
Ted is my son's dog, a loveable cockapoo who lives in Claypole, he enjoys walking and is an expert in hiding geocaches. If you see him out and about, please do say 'hi', as he is very friendly. He already has trails in Claypole and Long Bennington!
