Located near the Saar Valley, this site—comprising a chapel and an oratory—once included another chapel dedicated to Saint Urlo, which was destroyed in the mid-19th century. Its memory lives on thanks to the fountain dedicated to Saint Urlo, Saint Eugene and Saint Diboen, built at the end of the 19th century on the initiative of the rector, which will help you find the cache.
Built in the Flamboyant Gothic style, the chapel’s west façade and bell tower were constructed in the 16th century, followed by alterations to the south door and nave in 1663, and to the transept in the 18th century. It appears that until the 17th century, people prayed here to the Breton saint Tugen for relief from rabies and toothache.
Near the chapel stands the modest Oratory of Saint Diboën, dating from the 17th or 18th century, which is notable for having a large window on the north side that allowed worshippers to follow the service from outside. It seems that this saint was invoked on behalf of frail children, particularly during the pilgrimage held on the second Sunday in May.
