🦆 CACHE DESCRIPTION
Welcome to the Tillman’s Bishop State Wildlife Area, a beautiful stretch of river habitat with open views of Mount Garfield and the wetlands below. This multi‑cache uses the informational signs at the entrance to gather clues before leading you to a final container placed legally outside the SWA boundary.
A valid Hunting/Fishing License or SWA Pass is required to enter SWA land.
Because of SWA rules, no physical containers are placed on the signs — all stages here are virtual. You will only be reading, observing, and counting information printed on the kiosk.
Parking is easy and accessible, right next to the signs.
Be aware that wasps are present in this area, especially around the wooden kiosk. Look carefully before reaching anywhere.
If you see any trash, feel free to pick it up and pack it out — every bit helps keep this wildlife area clean.
There are houses nearby. The residents don’t mind geocachers, but please stay respectful and aware of your surroundings.
Before heading to the final, take a moment to enjoy the view — this spot offers a great look at Mount Garfield and the wildlife habitat below.
The final container is placed outside the SWA on public access. Please replace it exactly as found, keep it secure, and don’t drop it in the water. There is also another geocache nearby if you want to grab an extra find.

Stage 1 — Right Sign
Go to the right‑hand sign.
Find the sentence that reads:
“It’s a duck’s party — you’re __________________.”
Look at the missing word at the end of that sentence.
Count how many letters are in that word.
This number = A.

Go to the middle sign with the large map.
Look for the fishing icons on the map.
Count how many fishing icons you see.
This number = B.

Using the same map, look for the hunting icons.
Count how many hunting icons you see.
This number = C.

Stage 4 — Middle Sign
Still on the same map, count all icons combined:
• Fishing
• Viewing
• Hunting
Count every icon on the map.
This number = D.

Stage 5 — Left Sign
Go to the left‑hand sign labeled “SWA Signature Species.”
Under this heading, look at the bold species name.
Count how many separate words appear in that bold species name.
This number = E.

Stage 6 — Left Sign (again)
Using the same bold species name from Stage 5:
• Remove the second word
• Keep only the first word
• Count how many letters are in that first word
This number = F.
