In visiting a unique multi and several other caches along the Peanut Trail in Newton, I thought that this location was deserving of a gas saver cache and a way to pinpoint convenient parking. This 1.5 mile trail was once a railroad bed, a snowmobile trail, and is now the multi-modal hiking/ biking Peanut Trail. It inconnects with other trails and to S. Main Street near the Fire Station. On the days I visited it, folks were enjoying a walk with their pups, their family and even 2 goats! Yes, there was a family with their goats. There is parking for 2-3 cars at this location.
