Geocache Description:

Join me on Fri. June 5 for a walk along the Clackamette Cove Trail to River Access Park as we make this trail and park a much cleaner place than when we arrived. This also gives you another chance for a cito on Fri, if you're looking to qualify for Westside VIII Oregon CITO Week Challenge in Bend.

The posted coordinates are at a potholed gravel parking area for the Clackamette Cove Trail where we'll meet to sign the paperwork and logbook before we begin our trash pickup and again at the end for trash disposal. You can also park at Clackamette Park (see additional waypoints for parking coordinates) and walk the quarter mile along Main Street to the meetup area.

Bring your gloves and grabbers, grab a supplied garbage bag, and we'll pick up any trash we find. Weather is still a bit unpredictable at this time of year so dress appropriately and stay safe. Seems like we have more rainy Rose Festival days than dry ones so we'll just have to hope for the best.

The Clackamette Cove Trail is about a 1 mile paved trail with many side trails that are dirt or gravel that lead down to the river or into the park. There are both benches and picnic tables along the paved trail.
