You are currently in the western part of Malta, in the vicinity of the famous cliffs. Here, towering limestone cliffs define the landscape, plunging steeply down toward the Mediterranean Sea. The surroundings feel rugged and unspoiled, characterized by low-lying Mediterranean vegetation, small fields enclosed by dry-stone walls, and sweeping vistas across the open sea. The tranquility of this area is particularly striking: unlike the bustling tourist resorts along the coast, what you find here is primarily nature, wind, and vast horizons. On a clear day, you can even spot the small island of Filfla just off the coast. The landscape changes dramatically depending on the time of day - especially at sunset, when spectacular atmospheric lighting effects unfold over the cliffs and the sea.
The terrain classification is derived from the challenge conditions.
