The following is a completly true and unedited story as told by Carol:
John strutted into the room with theatrical gravitas, cradling a single can of SPAM as though it were a royal heirloom. “Behold!” he cried, presenting it to his assembled squirrel audience, “the pinnacle of civilization, courtesy of the mighty Hormel Foods!” John then opened the can of SPAM through sheer enthusiasm and declared “At last, my noble feast!”

National SPAM Day is celebrated annually on July 31st to honor the iconic canned meat product introduced by Hormel Foods in 1937. John of GOJAC celebrates the "quirky, delicious meat product" almost daily by himself, but has offered to spend this national holiday with the "common folk".
