🦉 Great Horned Owl — “The Silent Watcher”
Description
If the woods had a nighttime guardian, this would be it.
The great horned owl hunts in near silence, its wings specially adapted to muffle sound. By the time prey hears anything—it’s too late.
During the day, they sit quietly, almost invisible, blending into bark and shadow. Watching. Waiting.
This cache borrows that approach—hidden in plain sight, if you know how to look.
Fun Fact
Owls can rotate their heads up to 270 degrees.
