The Great Victorian Cache Crawl is a series of events to celebrate International Geocaching Day. The events are in multiple locations across the state and aim to provide opportunities for cachers to locate a nearby event to join in the celebrations. In 2026, the cache crawl begins in Waurn Ponds on Friday night, before touring west on International Geocaching Day (Saturday) and arriving in Warrnambool for an optional overnight stay. The fun spills over into Sunday starting in Tower Hill just to the west and then journeying east along a different route, ultimately ending with a final event in Inverleigh. Attendees are welcome to attend one, many or all of the activities across the weekend. Feel free to choose your own adventure.
Specific details for this event are as follows:
Date: 15 August 2026
Where: Rafferty's Tavern, Warrnambool
Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm (or later)
After a big day, come and unwind with your fellow crawlers over an optional bite to eat. Will attends are essential to reserve a table spot.
