About this series: This Cache is placed as part of the Summer 2026 Taconic Region Geocaching Challenge. Find 45 challenge caches in the Taconic Region and stamp your passport to earn a trackable geo-coin. Three other NYS Park Regions -- Central, Thousand Islands, and Saratoga-Capital -- are also participating, and ten challenge caches found in those regions can be used toward the Taconic Challenge. This cache contains a unique stamp which must stay with the cache. Use this stamp to mark your passport. This stamp is NOT a trade item.

Mad Men
The television series “Mad Men” ran initially from 2007 to 2015. It was created by Matthew Weiner. The series took place during the 1960s in Manhattan when advertising execs were called Mad Men from working on Madison Avenue. It received widespread acclaim for its writing, acting, directing, visual style and historical authenticity. It won many awards, including 16 Emmys. It was also the first made-for-cable series to receive the Emmy for Outstanding Drama, winning it each year of its first four seasons (2008–2011). It is widely regarded as one of the best television series of all time.
The caches are dedicated to prominent characters in the series. We hope you remember or are inspired to watch it.
Don Draper: (Actor: Jon Hamm). The chief protagonist, Don is a master at creating a sense of need in his clients’ customers that is at least partially not from reality. In fact, this duplicity extends to Dan’s private life and past.
