I am a Senior Girl Scout working towards my gold award. I am an avid geocacher (this is a separate account I created for my gold award caches), and have been geocaching for 5 years. My Gold Award, Get Out!, is focused on getting people outside and teaching others about environmental safety and protection. This geocache focuses on orienteering. When you get to the coordinates of the first, virtual, stage you will have to orient yourself with a compass and a few directions to arrive at the location of the actual geocache.
Directions: Start at the coordinates of the cache, then walk 20 degrees north until you reach the bench. Then, standing in the middle of the bench, walk 130 degrees southeast for about 7 strides up the hill. Now look for the cache!
