On June 24th, 2024, I decided to start a streak of finding at least one cache per day (all cache types except for Adventure Labs would count). I figured that I'd keep the streak going through the summer, and maybe to the end of the year at the very longest. Now, here I am two years in with no intention of stopping. I have found caches on the warmest of Summer days, the coldest and snowiest of Winter days, near and far, with friends and on my own, and, most importantly, I have never found it to be a meaningless or boring task. While I care about numbers, I also care about enjoyment, and so far I have loved seeing different corners of the city every day for the past 730 days.
