You are most welcome to join me at the posted coordinates, outside the station cafe, at Ely station, for a geocaching event on Monday 8th June, from 1845 to 1915.
SideTracked event caches have gone, departed, left the station. Everyone is very sad, so, WaitingRoom Events have been initiated for the train buffs who like a meet up at a station.
All are invited to this WaitingRoom Event at Ely station for chat about all things geocaching.

Beneath the vast, wind-scoured skies of the Fens, Ely station stands like a weathered sentinel, its iron bones humming with the ancient rhythm of departure and return. Here, where the flat earth stretches in emerald and gold to meet the horizon, trains glide in like silver ghosts, sighing over rails that have carried centuries of longing. The cathedral looms beyond the platforms—a colossal dream of stone and spire, watching over the comings and goings with quiet, eternal benediction. Steam once rose where electric now whispers; footsteps echo the ghosts of farmers, scholars, and wanderers, their stories woven into the salt-tanged air. In the hush between arrivals, time itself seems to pause on the platform’s edge, suspended between the infinite Fen and the promise of elsewhere, as golden light spills across the tracks and paints every ordinary journey with the brush of poetry.
