Our caching group calls ourselves "Team Ted" as Bev (Firefox.3)'s dog Ted used to join us on our caching adventures.
Ted has very sadly passed on, but we have kept the team name as a mark of respect to our team mascot and our much loved buddy.
We are from the Sowerby Bridge, Brighouse, Huddersfield area in West Yorkshire.
Our team is made up of Me (JKM2013), Dave (DoodleMaster), Bev (Firefox.3), Mark (Team e.2105), Simon (Whistler29) & Helen (NewInners)
We have been targetting caches in the Thirsk area and have to say thanks to the CO's in the area who have placed caches for us to enjoy.
Sowerby, TrainSPLOTer, Mel&Freddie17, MrMagnaDefender and tbbúsquedas to name a few.
We have a 90 minute drive to reach Thirsk and it's always good to start a caching day with a nice breakfast.
This is therefore a "breakfast" type of event where we can hopefully meet some other cachers and get something to eat before heading off to find some more caches in the area.
Many sorts of food and drinks are available, but no purchase is necessary.
Free parking for up to an hour in the market place (get a ticket from the machine) or two hours free disc parking on Kirkgate.
The venue doesn't take booking on Saturday's, but they told us to just turn up and they would accomodate us.
