This is a Challenge Cache and IS located at the posted coordinates. In order to claim a find you must have met the terms of the challenge. You may sign the log at any time and post a note on the cache page. Any "found it" logs that don't qualify will be deleted. There is a challenge checker you can run to see if you qualify.
Some cachers love traditionals.
Some love power trails.
But some of us… we love a good puzzle.
If you’re one of the brave souls who willingly stares at cipher wheels, Sudoku grids, obscure Wikipedia pages, and suspiciously cute storylines that definitely hide a clue — this challenge is for you.
Your mission: fill 300 calendar dates using only Mystery/Unknown caches, based on their placed dates.
That’s right — 300 days of the year, January 1 through December 31, represented by a Mystery cache placed on that date.
Challenge Requirements
To log this cache as Found, you must:
Find at least one Mystery/Unknown cache placed on 300 calendar dates (Jan 1–Dec 31).
Only Mystery/Unknown caches count toward this challenge.
All qualifying finds must be your own and properly logged on geocaching.com.
Past finds count — you do not need to complete the placed?date grid in a single year.
You may sign the physical log at any time, but you may only claim the online find once you qualify.
The Project-GC challenge checker link will let you know when you have completed the challenge.
Some dates will fall into place naturally. Others will make you wonder why every puzzler hides caches on Pi Day but no one hides them on some random Tuesday in November.
But eventually, the grid fills — and when it does, this smiley is yours.
Final Thoughts
This challenge celebrates the creativity of the Mystery cache community. Every qualifying find represents a solved puzzle, a cracked code, or a clever twist you unraveled. Completing 300 placed dates with Mystery caches is a true badge of honor.
Puzzle on, and enjoy the journey.
