This is #3 in a series of skirtless LPCs.
I have nothing against lamp post caches (LPCs) in general. Lamp posts are convenient, plentiful, and relatively roomy and protective from the elements. It's the lamp skirts that have become a pet peeve for me. This is for two reasons: the screeeeetch and the wasps. It's nearly impossible to remain stealthy when lifting the skirt up the pole, especially the metal ones, and especially when caching alone. It's even worse when you expose a big nest of bugs who fly and sting and who want very much to get to know their new friend. So, I'm seeking out lamp posts without skirts for this series. If you know of some in the area, feel free to send me a messsage.
