Welcome to Mount Swampmore. I always wanted to hide a cache here. I always wondered how this hill happened in the middle of the rock creek river bottom which is all flat around here. The GZ approach is a little tricky, try to find a dry way up, there is one, or you will get wet and muddy hence the higher terrain. I hid this in a drought it might be a muddy trip to the hill from the road in rainy weather. Form posted parking you will need to hop a guardrail and hike Beach Drive about 1/3 mi. I suggest Weekends when the road is closed, I suggest avoiding weekdays at rushhour as traffic can be heavy. There is a shoulder of grass and a sidewalk on the bridge across the creek or you can walk in road on weekends.
Serrabou is a DMV cacher with many hides in both VA and MD. He has a myriad of cache types- puzzles, multis, traditionals with tough elements like long paddles, big hikes, orienteering, and tree climbs, so I like his hides. I put this here and made it a little challenging as a tribute to him. The container may challenge begnning cachers, more experienced may find it quickly, but I think you will enjoy the camo. If you know Serrabou's hobbies you should know what to look for.
