Who doesn't love paddling and hanging out on an island with other geocachers?
Join in for a paddle on what will hopefully be a beautiful June Saturday. I'll be launching around 9:15 for the short paddle. We will meet on the beach on Treasure Island from 9:30 to 10 and you are free to join us for hunting the two caches on the island after the event.
*** Be sure to launch from the right side of the fishing pier. The left side is a public beach and launching is not allowed. ***
Do all the safety stuff. Wear a life vest. I'm not responsible for your bad decisions, only my own.
The island is known for it's poison ivy, so if you plan to cache or walk the trails, plan accordingly.
