Their next stop was a strange location known as Mutiny at Ground Zero, a place with such an ominous name that even the crew lowered their voices while searching. Pete became convinced the cache was protected by ghost pirates and spent ten minutes threatening invisible enemies with a spoon he had accidentally left in his pocket from breakfast. After searching high and low, the captain finally discovered the next clue through what he proudly called “advanced pirate problem-solving,” though the crew agreed it looked more like blind luck mixed with stubbornness. Pete celebrated by declaring mutiny illegal unless he personally was doing it.
