Geocache Description:


I’ve been meaning to collect four caches in Bisley since i started but they didnt really make a route. Hence, I’ve added some mlte caches to make a nice circular route for these whilst on the route you can pick up a couple of mystery caches.

This cache will take you to Bisley Lockup

Grade II* listed. Two cells. Juliet Shipman, The Bisley Lock-up: A Story of Crime and Punishment (Bisley Local History Group), provides a detailed history of this lock-up. According to Shipman, a pound was located next to the lock-up (now in the garden of Bear House) and stocks stood on the grassy bank opposite (in use until 1863).
