Dead Man's Tunnel

Night had fully fallen by the time they reached Dead Man’s Tunnel, a shadowy old passageway that looked unsettling enough from the outside alone. Pete immediately became convinced the place was haunted by the spirit of an angry pirate who had died searching for treasure and poor lighting. Kevin spent most of the search whispering ghost noises directly into Pete’s ear, causing the captain to leap backwards every few seconds and once apologise to a shrub he thought was cursed. Staying well clear of the tunnel itself, the crew searched carefully around the gloomy entrance until Pete finally uncovered the hidden clue. Clutching it triumphantly to his chest, he swaggered away insisting he had “feared absolutely nothing,” despite still refusing to look back toward the tunnel.
