Kick Off Cache Ba$h Weekend by Giving Back!
Before the fun of the West Bend Cache Ba$h begins, join fellow geocachers in helping keep the city that hosts this incredible Mega Event looking its best.
Welcome to the 8th Annual Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) Cleanup, where we’ll once again take to Downtown West Bend to clean up the streets, Riverwalk, and surrounding public spaces ahead of a weekend filled with geocaching adventure.
Last year, an incredible 132 geocachers joined the effort, making it our largest turnout yet and helping remove enough litter to completely fill 2 nearby trash bins along the Eisenbahn Trail. Together, we made a visible impact on the downtown area. Let’s do it again!
Whether you’re a longtime CITO participant or attending your first cleanup, this is a fun, rewarding way to meet fellow geocachers, explore downtown West Bend, and give back to the community that welcomes us each year.
Event Details
Location: Downtown West Bend, Wisconsin
Meeting Spot: Under the yellow canopy across from the Museum of Wisconsin Art on the Eisenbahn Trail
Date: Friday, August 7, 2026
Time: 8:30-9:45 a.m. CST (rain or shine)
Parking
Free public parking is available near the posted waypoints:
• Veterans Avenue, just south of the Museum of Wisconsin Art
• Service Drive, across the river
Schedule
8:30 a.m. – Meet at the posted coordinates to sign the log, grab a trash bag, and head out.
Cleanup areas include:
• The Riverwalk
• Main Street and surrounding alleyways
• Downtown streets and public spaces
Feel free to spread out and explore while helping tidy up the area.
9:30 a.m. – Return to the meeting location for a group photo and trash drop-off.
Running late? No worries. If the group has already dispersed, simply sign in, grab supplies, and join us out in the field.
