About Middleton Station
Middleton Railway Station is one of the most picturesque stops on South Australia's famous Cockle Train line, situated between Goolwa and Victor Harbor along the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula coastline.
The railway through Middleton opened in 1884 as part of the line connecting Adelaide with Victor Harbor. For many years, the railway served as a vital transport link for local communities, carrying passengers, produce, livestock, and supplies across the region.
