Geocache Description:

Hammer Heritage Square is a downtown park in Sedro-Woolley, Washington, that opened in 2005. The historic site previously housed a drugstore (1890), the First National Bank (1905–1949), and a gas station before being transformed into a public space. The project was made possible when Wyman Hammer donated his family's inherited lots to the city in 2001. Built through community donations, memorial brick sales, and volunteer labor from local civic clubs, the square now serves as a central gathering hub and has hosted the weekly Farmers Market since 2006. congrats to Msaxby for the FTF
