Even though it already feels as if summer has fully arrived in the month of May, the actual warm season of 2026 "officially" begins on June 21st. And it happens to coincide with Father's Day this year. It's hard to believe that by the time we meet, three full months will have passed since we last gathered to greet the spring season. Time keeps flying by...
Please plan to join us as we complete the cycle of season-opening geocaching events. This will be the fourth iteration of our Solstice/Equinox Event series. Regardless of the season, it's always nice to gather with geocaching friends and enjoy each other's company. There's little doubt that since we last met, some geocaching history has been made. We look forward to hearing all of the bragging and tall tales that go along with it.
This meet-up is at a well-known coffee shop not far from I-20 and Exit 196. It's becoming a favorite thanks to its central location and ample space. We'll gather outdoors on the patio unless the heat drives us to the A/C inside. Food and beverage will be available. No purchase is required to attend. New geocachers and out-of-town guests are always welcome.
Feel free to bring trackable items for discover or trade.
NOTE: Attending this event assures geocachers of receiving the "2026 June Solstice" souvenir.
