Geocache Description:

About the station

Beckenham Road Tram stop is the second station on the Beckenham Junction to Wimbledon line. For the train enthusiast it is served by both the CR400 "flexibility swift" trams and the newer Variobahn trams that were brought later on to increase the fleet. You can also see class 377 EMU's travelling from Beckenham junction to London Bridge. To the non train enthusiast, trams normally run every 7-15 minutes on a good service day. Like Birkbeck station, there is only one platform, which serves both directions. The cache is a very simple find very close by.
