About SideTracked Caches
This geocache belongs to the SideTracked series that is popular in the UK and throughout the world. The first cache was placed on the 10th August, 2007, and is now spreading around the world. It is designed to be a relatively quick cache find around train stations for travellers but, of course, anyone else can find it too! This year marks the 19th Anniversary of the beginning of the SideTracked Series.
Come along and start your SideTracked Week here at St Leonards, the original teminus station for the North Shore Rail Line, now known as the T1.
When: Sunday, 9th August, 2026
Time: 10.30am to 11pm
Where: Wadanggari Park, on the Pacific Highway, opposite St Leonards Station
Parking: Very limited paid street parking only. Being as it's Sunday there will be some free street parking in Canberra Avenue, close to GZ, see the attached waypoint. I recommend you come by train or bus both stopping at the venue or by Metro to Crows Nest, only 400m walk downhill.
There are plenty of eateries surrounding the park for nibbles and drinks before or during the event or for lunch afterwards.
