Yes! I am shaking things up a bit this month Cachers! There is usually plenty of trash in the park, along the bike trail, and definitely under Marina Dr. if you choose to go that far. You can also choose to go on the rocks - but remember - these rocks can be wet and slippery and that is a dangerous combination!
You can park in the lot as usual, or along the street. I would still recommend checking in with the Save Our Beach staff to get your bags and picker and to try to win free tickets to the Aquarium of the Pacific.
In case Save Our Beach cancels their event for any reason, the CITO is automatically cancelled also. This event is in Seal Beach, Orange County.
• Pre-register on this Save Our Beach website, this helps speed up the check-in process
• Gloves will be provided (recommended to bring your own)
• Close-toed shoes encouraged
• Bags will be provided
• Pickers will be provided
Save Our Beach will be conducting a monthly beach clean-up on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9am to Noon at the beach parking lot at the end of 1st Street in Seal Beach (Orange County). This Geocaching CITO event is tagging on to the Save Our Beach event. Clean-ups happen 'Rain or Shine’. In case Save Our Beach cancels their event, the CITO is automatically cancelled also. For example, if the beach is closed due to a tsunami warning.
