About Nurinda Station
Nurinda Station was a stop on the historic Brisbane Valley Railway Line in the Harlin district, which officially opened in 1910. Today, the former station site near Colinton and Harlin is a popular stop along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, a scenic multi-use trail for cyclists, walkers, and horse riders.Â
The image above was taken around 1991, well after the line was closed in the late 1980s and early 1990s. All that remained then was the Cream Shed and station sign. Today, the only reminder of this station is the station sign and an information board.
