Wisconsin is a golfers paradise, with more than 500 public and private golf courses and over 200 mini‑golf courses, all set against the state’s mix of glacial hills, lake breezes, and Northwoods scenery. It’s also home to several top-25 nationally recognized golfing destinations - Whistling Straits, Blackwolf Run, Erin Hills, Mammoth Dunes, and Sand Valley - giving golfers championship‑level experiences while still feeling unmistakably Wisconsin. The U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup, U.S. Women's Open, and the U.S. Senior Open all have been drawn to Wisconsin in recent years. Not bad for one state!
This cache, located just off "Paradise" Drive, is one of 50 caches placed for the 2026 West Bend $1,000 Cache Ba$h mega event, with this year's theme being "All things Wisconsin." It is a short two-stage multicache, with parking available in the nearby lot at N 43° 23.839 W 088° 10.026. Restrooms, picnic tables, food, and drinks are all nearby.
Golf and geocaching are two of the main recreational activities for Mr. Hack1of2, and the theme of this geocache combines them both!
