Geocache Description:

The gang and I were riding around with Mr S in hopes of finding Bruno (see GCBPDFK).

I suggested we stop and look in Fiddler's Creek Preserve as Bruno likes to walk there (on a leash, of course, don't want to disturb ground nesting birds, so many birds here, Hummingbirds to turkeys).

Such a cool park, There's room for one more cache here", I say suggestively!

"Oh, not another traditional cache,* says Bobbi (they, them) unconventionally.

"We've done unkowns" Says Jamal mysteriously.

"I've placed stage 2 and 1 of a multi cache" says annA backwardly

"Well, that leaves a Letterbox Hybrid, I have a 'For Deposit Only [redacted] stamp',  Mr S expressed.

So be it and it is so.

So, Follow us kids along to the final so you can stamp/sign in.

Mr S turned in at the posted coods that lead to parking.

At N40 19.001 w 74 53.048 we open the gate and take the trail straight to the left.

Mr S starts rambling on about stuff-"look a arrowwood viburnum, we can make arrows! And the common mullein is starting to grow, they make great spears, We can use this Indian hemp plant to make cord to tie the shale arrowheads on". And he goes on eating various green stuff, which says is nutritious and medicinal, yuk. Where are those Turkey and blackberries that annA saw on the way in now! And now we have to open to yet another gate at N40 19.017 w 74 52.956 and we  spot a trails marker a few feet away.

Then we go down that trail and come fork in the road at N40 18.977 w 74 52.911, with a huge snag with a red dot on it.

"Let's take the unmarked trail." says Bobi ignorantly. And we dp.

Soon we crossed the steppingstones which today are dry. From there we hike up the now marked Chanteuse/lemon colored trail (annA said colorfully. Who can see more colors than any of us.)

From the snag to the hike 196 meters as a honeybee would fly straight to its home(we're learning metrics in school now) so we go and we stop at a strange object that Mr S insists on sitting (to enjoy the view, he says breathlessly) At this object take GPS reading. You should (we hope) be at N40 18.8xx w 74 52.8xx

Now count the inside vertical slats and add 62 to the last xx digits of North. Then count the horizontal slats and add 25. And (Hey Horizonatal ones are tricky someone might error and go astray, says Jamal, trailing off.  We're too excited to linger and decide to take the GPS reading. At last we place the cache, visible from afar.

So now you too can  proceed to the final where you can find/stamp/sign.

Hope you didn't cheat and park at the other entrance and avoid all the birds and plants and stuff. It's really a lovely walk.

Keep an eye out for Bruno, He's been missing. Very friendly.
