Please come and chat with us beside the bench between the Sandy Water car park and the lake for some geocaching-related chatter. It doesn't matter if you've attended 100 events before, or none at all, we'll do our best to give you a warm welcome and ensure that you're not left out.
This is a pleasant park with large, open grassy areas and tarmacked paths. It's also dog-friendly. As long as the weather is kind to us, it should be a nice spot to while away an hour or so. Just be aware that there is only one bench, so if you want to sit down, it's probably best to bring your own chair or be prepared to sit on the grass.
Unfortunately, the car park beside the Event is "pay and Display" - up to 2 hours costs £1.70. Blue Badge holders get an extra hour on their ticket.
The Cachekeepers have finally got their hands on a tree-fishing pole, thanks to the ever-generous AnwenLlinos. So, after the event, they will be trying to find the 4 tree-fishing caches that are nearby. You are more than welcome to join them.
