First time I heard of this situation, it was a real WTF moment, switftly followed by another when I wondered how I had never heard of it before. It's a well know thing in Spain, but seems to be a well kept secret outside which is quite amazing given the circumstances.
This one is probably going to be very easy to solve, but a bit harder to retrieve. You will need a 9m pole (or longer)
So on to what you need to solve.
The information:
- Some years ago, a foreign airforce flew over mainland Spain and dropped a number of items on the country
- Spain didn't want these items
- The country that dropped them wanted them back
- Getting them all back didn't prove all that easy
What you need to work out:
- The number of items that were dropped
- The town/city name where they were dropped
- The codeword associated with this
This should give you a number and three words which you need to enter into Certitude in the following way:
If you think there were 1000 items, the town was 'Sevilla' and the codeword was 'Hello World' you would enter:
- 1000SevillaHelloWorld into Certify (i.e. enter all 4 things as one word)
When you log the cache I'd be grateful if you could mention if you had ever heard of this before - but this isn't essential to logging the cache.
You can validate your puzzle solution with
certitude.
