Prior to Chugiak Cafe June, park across the street and help the Chugiak Benefit Association keep their green spaces clean with a trash pick up! They've also indicated that they would love some help with landscaping, so if you're handy with clippers or flower beds, let me know, and I can get you coordinated with the CBA. They graciously allow geocaching on their 14-acre property and have allowed Geoachers to place caches there for over 15 years. Let's give back to this non-profit by getting them spiffy for summer! The CBA is host to other non-profits, including the Chugiak Eagle-River Historical Society and the Obedience Training Ground of Chugiak.
Meet at the front of the red building in the middle to check in and get bags, gloves, and grabbers, then come back when you're done for a quick treat and hand sanitizer before we head across the street for a post-CITO coffee. Please check in on time if you plan to head out early to go stand in line for food before the cafe opens. If you're not hustling for biscuits and gravy, stop by any time during the event!
This Event is hosted by proud members of GeocacheAlaska!, Chugiak High Geocaching Club, and the Aurora Challenge Trail team.
Check them out today!
