Geocache Description:

This is our first attempt at a Multi-Cache, we hope you enjoy it!

Katimavik is a quiet residential neighbourhood of Kanata. There are numerous parks, including some hidden gems. This multi-cache will bring you to 7 different parks in the area - the first 6 to collect the necessary information to identify the location of the 7th and final park, which is home to your goal/the cache!

You also do not need to visit the posted coordinates and the waypoints in any particular order, nor do you have to visit all six on the same day.

The posted coordinates will bring you to Cattail Creek Park, one of the largest parks in Katimavik. You need to find the word on the blue kickplate on the staircase of the playstructure. A = the DR of that word - 2

Waypoint 1 is Young's Pond Park, home to a beautiful skating rink in the winter. It is also home to a small play structure, which contains the phrase "____ makes the world go round". B = the DR of the missing word

Waypoint 2 is Pickford Park, home to a baseball diamond and lots of greenspace. There is a playstructure tucked away at the back of the field. On that playstructure are six gears that can be rotated. C = the DR of the colour of those gears

Waypoint 3 is Tamblyn Woods Park, hidden within Hazeldean Woods and missed by many casual visitors to the area. Hazeldean Woods is also home to another cache you can grab while in the area! At the small play structure, there is a panel with lettering. D = the DR of the entirely green letters + 2

Waypoint 4 is at Watt's Creek Park, another park hidden in a wooded area. There is a small creek running behind the park, home to lots of different kinds of wildlife. At the playstructure, there is a silver tag with the model number of the structure. E = the DR of the model number

Waypoint 5 is at Irwin Gate Park, a very shaded and quiet park. There is a cache hidden in this little park, which you should grab when you are visiting! At the park there is a red train. F = the DR of the name of the train + C - 4

Once you have visited all 6 parks, you should have all the information you need to locate the final (which is, unsurprisingly, in yet another park!)

The final is at

N45° 18.ABC W075° 53.DEF

Happy caching!
