Båthavna i Tromsdalen

Båthavna i Tromsdalen har plass til 371 båter og er den eldste i Tromsø. Den bestyres av et samvirkeforetak som eier og bestyrer aktiviteten her. Det er ikke gjesteplasser i havna, men det er en rampe for utsett/ oppsett av båter fra privat henger mot et gebyr. Anlegget har også et servicebygg med kontor og selskapslokale, samt servicekai med mulighet for anleggshavere og leietakere å bunkre bensin og diesel.

The marina in Tromsdalen has space for 371 boats and is the oldest in Tromsø. It is managed by a cooperative that owns and manages the activity here. There are no guest spaces in the harbor, but there is a ramp for launching/setting up boats from private trailers for a fee. The facility also has a service building with offices and banquet facilities, as well as a service quay with the possibility for facility owners and tenants to bunker gasoline and diesel.

Ved båthavna er det en stor åpen plass som gjerne brukes av sirkus og tivoli når de besøker Tromsø. I tillegg har Tromsø kommune lagt til rette for innfartsparkering her, slik at folk kan parkere her og komme seg videre med buss. Parkering er gratis, og det er busstopp like ved. Dessuten er det kort vei til Tromsøbrua for de som ønsker å ta beina eller sykkelen fatt.

By the marina there is a large open space that is often used by circuses and fairgrounds when they visit Tromsø. In addition, Tromsø Municipality has arranged for driveway parking here, so that people can park here and get on by bus. Parking is free, and there is a bus stop nearby. It is also a short walk to the Tromsø Bridge for those who want to walk or cycle to the city centre.
