Zachary and the crew have found a Hippodraco skeleton in amazing condition. They’ve studied it thoroughly, travelled across the world to compare it to other fossils, and have made some ground-breaking discoveries about the species. Edmund wrote a paper on their finds, which is currently being peer-reviewed before it gets published in an academic journal.

The name Hippodraco comes from the Greek word hippos (meaning horse) and the Latin word draco (meaning dragon). It was chosen because of the shape of the skull of the dinosaur, wich resembles that of a horse.

Useful information for the series
Once solved, the first ten caches in this series can be done in a roughly circular walk, although one stretch is along a road that is not the best so please make sure you walk on the safest side of the road, and if you have geokids with you, keep an eye on them!
We've suggested two places where you can park to do this walk, you can find them in the waypoints.
Alternatively you can do seven of this group as park-and-grabs, but for three of them you'll have to get out and go for a short walk :)
