Geocache Description:

Stockwell is a settlement and northern Barossa hamlet wrapped in vineyards and country appeal. At the 2006 census, Stockwell had a population of 534 and is named after Samuel Stockwell, an early landowner in the area.

Stockwell was a station on the Truro railway line from 1917 to 1968 when the line closed to regular service, and closed completely in 1992

The Stockwell Hotel, (23 Duck Ponds Road Stockwell) located conveniently in the heart of Stockwell will be the venue on this occasion.

The Stockwell Hotel is a beloved gathering place for locals and visitors alike, where warm hospitality pairs perfectly with a cold drink and warm fires.

A copy of the menu is available here

I have booked for 15 and the cutoff for responses will be Friday 17th July at 12 Noon.

Note:

All are welcome. You can stay the entire time or just pop in ...and of course there are a plethora of caches located in the surrounding area.

Eating and drinking is optional (however please consider supporting local business!)
