Bem-vindos à Praça do Trenzinho! Bem em frente à antiga estação ferroviária de Resende, descansa uma imponente lembrança da era de ouro das ferrovias brasileiras. Esta é a locomotiva "1º de Maio", uma robusta máquina a vapor fabricada pela lendária empresa alemã Orenstein & Koppel.
Dê uma boa olhada nos detalhes de ferro fundido, nas placas originais e imagine o esforço que essa caldeira já fez puxando vagões no passado. Hoje, ela serve como um monumento histórico da cidade e, claro, como o esconderijo perfeito para mais uma aventura geocaching!

Welcome to Praça do Trenzinho! Right in front of the old Resende railway station rests an imposing reminder of the golden age of Brazilian railways. This is the "1º de Maio" locomotive, a robust steam engine manufactured by the legendary German company Orenstein & Koppel.
Take a good look at the cast iron details, the original plates, and imagine the effort this boiler has put into pulling wagons in the past. Today, it serves as a historical monument for the city and, of course, as the perfect hiding place for another geocaching adventure!
