Join us for the Maryland Geocaching Society’s twenty fourth annual Summer Picnic at the Black Hill Regional Park! Everyone who has an interest in geocaching is invited to come and join in the fun. You need not be a member of the MGS to attend. Whether you have 1 or a million finds, this event is for you! New to the game? New to the area? Visiting from out of town? Please drop in and introduce yourself – we’d love to meet you!

This year we will be hosting a combination silent and live auction featuring a range of popular geocaching items. The silent auction will run throughout the event. A list of auction items will be posted on the MGS website as we get closer to the event—check back here for a link once it’s available.

Please remember that we rely on your generosity during this event to help fund the Maryland Geocaching Society. If you have an item you would like to donate, please email 2026Core@mdgps.org. You may also bring an item on the day of the auction; however, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to include last‑minute donations.

Please bring your favorite potluck dish to share. Post a ‘Will Attend’ log if you are planning to come, and please mention what dish you plan to bring. For more information related to how you can help or what to bring check out this LINK. The event will be held rain or shine. We hope to see you there!
